Welcome to Rally for the Valley.

These terms govern your use of this website and your participation in the Rally for the Valley event on October 3, 2026 in downtown Menasha, Wisconsin. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the organizer of Rally for the Valley. “You” refers to anyone using this site or attending the event.

About the event

Rally for the Valley is a community fundraiser supporting recovery from the July 27, 2026 tornado. The event is free and open to the public.

Schedules, performers, vendors, activities and site layout are subject to change without notice. Performer appearances are not guaranteed. The event may be delayed, shortened, relocated, or canceled due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances outside our control. We will post changes to this site and our announcement channels as quickly as we are able.

RSVP

RSVPs help us plan for capacity, staffing and supplies. An RSVP is not a ticket and does not guarantee entry, seating, or access to any specific activity or performance. Information you provide when you RSVP is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Donations

Donations made through this site support tornado recovery as described on the relevant donation page. Please read that page carefully before giving, as it identifies the recipient organization and how funds are used.

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us and we will do our best to help.

We do not provide tax advice. Whether your gift is tax-deductible depends on the receiving organization and your own circumstances. Consult a tax professional.

Rally for the Valley provides links to independent nonprofit organizations supporting tornado recovery. When you choose to donate, you leave the Rally for the Valley website and complete your contribution directly with the nonprofit you select. Rally for the Valley does not process, receive, pool or distribute those beneficiary donations. The receiving nonprofit’s terms, privacy practices and donation policies apply to that transaction.

Merchandise

Merchandise orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order, including for pricing or inventory errors. Shipping timelines are estimates. Return and exchange terms are listed on the merchandise page and apply to those purchases.

Applications to participate

Vendor applications, volunteer signups, sponsorship inquiries and offers of support are requests to participate, not agreements. Submitting one does not guarantee that we will be able to accept or use it. This event is being organized on a short timeline by a small planning team, and we may not be able to pursue every opportunity offered to us. Accepted participants will receive separate terms specific to their role.

Sharing your story

We collect community stories about the July 27 tornado and its aftermath.

Sharing a story with us does not by itself grant permission to publish it. When you submit, you tell us how, and whether, your story may be used. We will honor the choices you make on that form.

If you grant permission for public use, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit for length or clarity, and display your submission in connection with Rally for the Valley and its recovery and archival efforts, in the manner you selected. You keep ownership of your story.

By submitting, you confirm that the story is yours to share, that any photographs, video, or other material you provide is yours or that you have permission to share it, and that you have permission from any identifiable person who appears in it. Please do not submit material identifying other people without their knowledge.

You may withdraw or change your permissions at any time by contacting us. We will remove the material from anything we control going forward, though we may not be able to recall material already printed, broadcast, or shared by others.

Photography and recording at the event

Rally for the Valley is a public event, and it will be photographed, filmed and recorded. By attending, you understand that you may appear in photos, video or audio captured at the event, and you grant permission for that material to be used in coverage, promotion, fundraising and documentation of the event and its recovery efforts, without compensation.

If you prefer not to appear in event media, please speak with staff at the information tent and we will do what we reasonably can to accommodate you.

Conduct and safety

Attend at your own risk. This is an outdoor event on public streets, and conditions including weather, crowds, noise, uneven ground and temporary structures carry inherent risks.

You are responsible for supervising any minors in your care. Follow directions from event staff, volunteers and public safety personnel. We may ask anyone to leave whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or harmful to others.

Accessibility

We want this event to be usable by everyone. Accessibility information is available on the Plan Your Visit page. If you encounter a barrier on this site or need an accommodation at the event, contact us and we will work to address it.

Website content

Unless noted otherwise, the content on this site, including text, graphics, logos and the Rally for the Valley name and marks, is owned by us or used with permission. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not republish, sell, sublicense or redistribute it, or use our logo or artwork, without written permission.

Media outlets and community partners covering the event may use materials from our Media page under the terms described there.

Links to other sites

This site links to other organizations, including recovery resources, relief funds and partners. Those sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. Recovery information changes quickly, and we encourage you to confirm details with the organization directly.

No warranties

We do our best to keep this site accurate and current, but we make no guarantee that it is complete, accurate, or continuously available. Information about the event, recovery resources and third-party programs may change without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or your attendance at the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the event and recovery efforts develop. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
